This combined rooftop and offshore floating solar system powers a luxury resort island in Noonu Atoll, Maldives. The 320kW_p rooftop installation was completed in 2016, followed by a 2,421kW_p SolarSea® floating array in 2025 –  the largest floating solar installation at sea in the Maldives. With 1,953 kWh of battery storage, the island runs largely on solar during daylight hours.
