This platform was the 1:2 scale prototype of the offshore floating solar development line with an aim to handle up to 4m (13-feet) high waves. It featured a new mooring system and different types of PV modules were used to gain information about general performance as well as long term output and durability. The seaworthiness under offshore conditions was recorded and analysed.
